Chocolate Mint Smoothie

Fresh mint is the star of this smoothie. If you can find it, chocolate mint is the best variety to use—but if not, plain old mint works just fine.


1 tablespoon cacao nibs
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1 sprig of mint, preferably chocolate mint
a few drops of Stevia extract
2 bananas
8-10 ice cubes


  1. Place the mint, banana, cocoa, cacao nibs and Stevia into the blender and puree on the Smoothie setting.
  2. Add the ice cubes and blend until smooth.
