Fresh mint is the star of this smoothie. If you can find it, chocolate mint is the best variety to use—but if not, plain old mint works just fine.
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1 sprig of mint, preferably chocolate mint
a few drops of Stevia extract
8-10 ice cubes
- Place the mint, banana, cocoa, cacao nibs and Stevia into the blender and puree on the Smoothie setting.
- Add the ice cubes and then blend until smooth.
